BBC North West News visited Waterloo to interview Lorraine in the run-up to lockdown. The report highlighted her work helping older residents with I.T. skills and internet access.
Following reports of antisocial behaviour inside and outside Waterloo Park, Cllr Lee Huntbach has been liaising with police and Council officers since January to find ways to tackle it and deter offenders. Following his investigations, Cllr Huntbach can confirm that Tameside has seen a massive 50% upsurge in fly-tipping with some particular hotspots here within the ward of Waterloo. Lee has been regularly reporting fly-tipping across Park Bridge in particular and also Back Lane, Littlemoss as well as other sites.
